When you’ve been around for as long as we have, you pick up a thing or two along the way.

Stephen Gracey has been going, in a few various guises, for over a century and a half. It was founded in 1851 when it was an estate agency named Fletchers. It was then taken over by Stephen Gracey who eponymously changed the name. David Barnfield was the next owner and in 1988 the current owner, Chris Serghi took over. Today, Stephen Gracey specialises in property management, which forms the core of our business, as well as commercial and residential lettings and investment opportunities throughout North London and, further afield, by special arrangement. Despite the various changes in management along the way, the same principles and values have always remained at the heart of the business.
SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL

We will never grow too big for our boots. Don’t expect big flash offices. We keep our outgoings down so they are not passed onto you in our commission. We will always remain a family business where our clients will be personally looked after by the principal director, Chris Serghi, to whom you will have access day and night, weekdays and weekends, bank holidays and even during his own holidays. We draw on over 150 years of experience and are constantly involved in professional organisations which can add to our knowledge. We don’t use SOLD or LET boards which fall apart and cause problems or which annoy neighbours but, instead, prefer discreet plaques. We do everything with consideration to our clients first and foremost.

It’s not bricks and mortar that differentiates us; it’s our people.
We are a small team of highly experienced individuals. The company has two directors, Chris Serghi and Anastasios Alexandrou and a hand picked support system.
ALWAYS THE ORGAN GRINDER

Chris Serghi has over 32 years of experience in the property industry and has been the owner of Stephen Gracey since 1988. He is the face of the business. You will deal with him not just at the initial meetings, but he will be your primary contact throughout your relationship with us. Chris is passionate about his work and when he says he will care about your property as if it were his own, it’s not idle talk. He has his mobile on 24/7/365 so his clients can contact him any time they need to. Even when he’s on holiday or watching the Arsenal, he is still available!
